Bella In Bloom

Lucinda May Photography-104

Love Cherish Adore was in Barossa for the first time, at the Angaston Town Hall. It was a lovely bright and airy venue and a lovely day. I had Lucinda May Photography on one side of me (who also took most of these great photos!) and Fingerprint Guestbooks by Alexis Atkins on the other. Right across from me was Little Indie Co and Vintage Photobooths. It was a little quiet on the day but I had so much fun with my stall buddies that the day went pretty quick anyway!

Lucinda May Photography-107I had 3 different bouquets featured on my stall. I like to experiment a bit and sho people colours or combos that they wouldn’t normally choose. Also I get to do whatever I want at bridal fairs so like to challenge myself as well.

To the right was actually something just made from flowers that I picked up from the wedding the night before (midnight is still night before right?!) These flowers were tied to ceremony chairs all day, no water and a pretty warm sunny day… and they still looked awesome! It had roses, cluster roses, hyacinths, orchids, sea holly, delphiniums and pittosporum foliage. Tied with a navy satin ribbon.

Below and left was something like one of my past bouquets but in bright colours. A single king protea surrounded by lovely spray roses, hypericum berries, tulips, proteas and privet foliage. Tied with a hot pink satin ribbon. natives don’t have to be all earthy and textural. They can look so stunning with girly colours and roses.

Below and right was a bright mix with stocks, hypericum berry, roses, spray roses, tulips and calla lilies. Tied with a bright burgundy satin ribbon. Using different shapes and colours can really push your bouquet and give it a different look from different angles. This bouquet would look perfectly round from the top, but on the side you get to see the extra shape the stocks make by jutting out the top of the bouquet.

I also did the flowers for Lucinda May Photography. Lucinda loves my amber bottle collection and I filled it with lovely seasonal pink, yellow and white blooms such as snapdragons, décor chrysanthemums, billy buttons, spray roses, stocks, misty, golden rod, wheat and spray carnations.
